Putting on tefillin represents a long journey for me. As a child, I had a very strong attraction to Judaism. As a young adult, I drifted further away. The ritual of wrapping tefillin every morning binds me to our tradition. It gives me a moment of reflection before I start my day, to focus on things beyond the humdrum every day concerns of modern life. It allows me to renew my commitment to a way of life and the eternal principles that underpin it, as well as the divine. Thank you so much for bringing this beautiful awareness into my life.
