As a middle schooler, I went to a Jewish day school and developed a deep connection to Judaism and the Jewish community in my city. I became more present and active in the community, greatly enjoying my time at the school. When I graduated middle school, and began attending a secular high school, I feared I would lose my connection to the Jewish community and faith. Putting on my tefillin makes me feel like I am retaining and further deepening my relationship with Judaism. Thank you for your generosity.
